One of our favorite tricks for making picture-perfect cookies is to gently swirl a fresh-from-the-oven cookie in a round ring mold to shape it.

Use a fish spatula to carefully transfer cookies from a hot sheet pan to a cooling rack. The thin, sharp edge makes prying off even the most stubborn cookies a breeze.
