If you’re going to visit Frankie’s Tiki Room, there are two things you should know in advance: First, although it’s open 24 hours a day, you should, under no circumstance, visit in the middle of the day—save this for a late night stop once you’re already a few drinks in. Second, you can smoke in there and many, many people do. Plan accordingly, and by that, we mean either wear something you don’t care about, or be prepared to immediately throw out your clothes. The drink menu is organized around alcohol level; three skulls mean it’ll get you buzzed, and five means you need to find some cheese fries ASAP. (Unfortunately, the bar doesn’t serve food, unless you count maraschino cherry garnishes as sustenance.)

PRO TIP: If you shell out an extra $25, you can get your drink in a souvenir mug. (You should probably get the souvenir mug.)

DETAILS: Open daily, 24 hours
