Still a favorite after almost 20 years. Derian’s quirky-country-house aesthetic may have launched a hundred imitators, but no one else can create such a charmingly curated jumble—one that now extends to three shops. In addition to Derian’s trademark decoupage pieces (we’d like a cake stand, thanks, or maybe just a big oval platter), you’ll find a full range from Parisian ceramicists Astier de Villatte, vintage silverware, vibrant tablecloths and napkins, whimsical embroidered aprons from Coral & Tusk, and more. You will never go wrong buying a hostess, wedding, or housewarming gift here. And if you get overwhelmed (it happens), the patient staff will help steer you in the right direction.

PRO TIP: Sign up for the mailing list: The annual summer sale is worth getting elbowed at, and art openings for the likes of painter Hugo Guinness are a lovely scene.

THE DETAILS: Closed on Mondays.
