Just blocks from Independence Hall (and across the street from Conversion), this housewares shop is fun to poke around even if you leave empty-handed (which you likely won’t). It describes its goods as “thoughtfully selected for your enjoyment,” and the helpful, friendly staff really makes you feel like each item was chosen for a reason. We fell for the Japanese ceramics from Kinto and the tablecloths from Fog Linen, and nearly walked out with some palo santo from Colorado’s Fluorescent Ranch to burn at home.

PRO TIP: Don’t forget to visit its equally charming sister shop, Omoi Zakka, which has some fantastic Japanese goodies for the kitchen and table (not to mention cool accessories).

THE DETAILS: Open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays; noon to 6 p.m. Sundays.
