Kelly Janke head shot - Bon Appétit

Kelly Janke

Director, Culinary Production

Kelly oversees the culinary production team and day-to-day operations at Bon Appétit and Epicurious. But, when she’s not doing her regular job, she’s been known to develop recipes for the brands, like the Midwestern classic Tater Tot Hotdish and fall must-bake Caramel-Apple Cookies. Previously, she originated the staff culinary producer role for the BA video team. Kelly has a wide range of culinary media experience: working at ABC’s The Chew, TODAY, and Martha Stewart, and has assisted many of television's top food stylists. In addition, she taught recreational cooking classes at Havens Kitchen and has been a private chef. Kelly is proudly from Minnesota, where she received her bachelor’s degree in business management before attending culinary school in NYC. She hosts dinner parties often and can frequently be seen foisting baked goods on her neighbors. She is very particular about where she dines, and her colleagues can attest to her picky lunch requests—a hat she wears proudly!
