Leilani Marie Labong

Leilani Marie Labong is a San Francisco journalist writing about design, travel, and food for Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, WSJ Off Duty, National Geographic, Travel + Leisure, San Francisco Chronicle, FoodPrint, and Virtuoso. She has held senior editorial roles at various publications, including editor in chief of Habitat, a shelter magazine published by the San Francisco Chronicle. Leilani has earned a Society of Professional Journalists award for Excellence in Long-Form Storytelling (2022) and a Maggie Award for Best Profile (2019). She holds an MFA in Writing from the University of San Francisco.
