Melissa Knific is an editor and recipe developer with a deep understanding of the home cook. She’s contributed to The New York Times, TODAY Show, Allrecipes, Delish, Simply Recipes, and National Geographic, among other outlets and brands. Formerly the Food Director of Rachael Ray In Season, Food Editor at Family Circle, and a key member of HelloFresh’s culinary team, Knific has created thousands of recipes for print and digital publishing, tech, and consumer products. She is the co-author of the National Geographic National Parks Cookbook, publishing in February 2026.
