Beyond putting all the world’s cooking equipment through its paces, he writes about cookbooks, culinary history, gardening, and design. He endorses eating peanut butter made for dogs, giving knives to children, and bringing the weird to your white elephant gift exchange. Before joining the BA/Epi team, Wilder was the associate partnerships editor at TIME and a fact checker for 5280 magazine in Denver.
