Once again, we're sharing the best home cook-submitted recipes from food52's latest contests. This week, the themes were "Best Pork Sandwich" and "Best Strawberries" recipes.

BEST PORK SANDWICH

What Hesser and Stubbs Say: Most banh mi are made with a rich and fatty ground pork--this seasoned pork tenderloin gives the sandwich character.

What Hesser and Stubbs Say: The sweet juicy nectarine, lightly caramelized, and salty prosciutto are a fantastic contrast, and as RaquelG points out, the woodsy rosemary studding the buttery, crispy focaccia is a great complement to the fruit.
BEST STRAWBERRIES

What Hesser and Stubbs Say: You would think that the key ingredient in this ice cream would be the fragrant fennel pollen, but it's actually the agave nectar.

What Hesser and Stubbs Say: Mounds of fresh strawberries, macerated with sugar and a bit more rosewater (enough to evoke a summer garden without making them taste soapy), cut through the sweetness of the meringue and the mellowness of the cream.
