Looks like our BA Q&A with Rick Ross has awakened a cultural hunger for stories about Ricky Rozay and food. Which makes sense, since the guy seems to love using edible metaphors in his tracks. First, there was a hubbub about 'Diced Pineapple,' a song off his new album (that's actually more about sex than bromeliads, but what a way to describe it!), and now New York Magazine has compiled a master list of every time Rick Ross mentions food in his oeuvre.
The list isn't perfect (in the entry for "baguettes," for instance, Ross is actually rapping about baguette-cut diamonds, not French bread), but it does have a lot of gems. Here's one of our (less profanity-filled) favorites:
