Welcome to My Morning Routine, where we take a look at how people kick-start the day. In the first few installments, we focused on Bon Appétit staffers. Now we move into the wide world of everyone else (and by that we mean celebrities).

Mark Duplass made his name as a director, screenwriter, actor, and producer, working with his brother Jay to make movies like The Puffy Chair, Cyrus, and Jeff, Who Lives at Home. But right now, you can see him starring in both the funny/touching Your Sister's Sister (which opens today nationwide) and the funny/touching/slightly sci-fi Safety Not Guaranteed (which is already playing all over the place). Whether teaching his four-year-old daughter to chew gum or playing emotionally troubled leading men in the Pacific Northwest, he is a charming dude. --Sam Dean
