Since Saturday's announcement that Mitt Romney chose Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan as his running mate, more and more details of Ryan's life have started making their way into the public eye. Most of them are things about "budgets" and "deficits" and "being dreamy," but this item caught our food-focused eye:
That's right, Paul Ryan was not only at the vanguard of the Lunchables-ization of American school lunches, he (once) drove the Weinermobile! It's about time we updated that old "ship of state" metaphor to reflect the changing, hot-dog shaped times.
