Cook the Cover Speculoos Buttons  Bon Apptit

For those of you unfamiliar with speculoos--the spiced biscuits of Belgian/Dutch origin and the popular sweet spread of the same name--a quick nibble on one of our December cover cookies will make you a convert for sure. Somewhere between a gingersnap and a graham cracker, these sparkly little buttons are light and crispy, and just the treat to make your cookie tray extra festive. So if you haven't made them already (you've been too busy making all of these, right?), then be sure to bake up a few batches for the holidays. Even better, if you send us your pics by January 1, we might even feature them here on The Feed.
