Like French Toast, But Better (and Boozier)

A little bourbon in the morning never hurt anyone

Bread pudding is in that funny limbo space along with muffins, pastries, and coffee cake--they're all foods that could be served for either breakfast or dessert. For our purposes, Anita Lo's bourbon-soaked dessert will be had for brunch, alongside a strong cup of joe. Just think of it as drunken French toast. Is that so hard?
