Now that he’s finished nailing Italian (NYC’s Locanda Verde) and New American (The Dutch, with locations in New York and Miami), maybe we should have known that Andrew Carmellini would show New York what he could do with rustic French bistro food. His all-day grand café is housed in a spacious corner spot designed by Roman and Williams, complete with a boulangerie turning out croissants and madeleines in the daytime and a showstopping rotisserie in the evening.
