I wrote a newsletter this week about how this is my 6th Amazon Prime Day here at BA (if you want good product recs and recipes, our newsletter is here) and this time around, I'm taking a more minimalist approach. To be clear: I do believe there are lots of real discounts to be found. I’ve needed to replace my lawn mower for three months and I definitely waited until this week because doing so saved me an extra $100. But there’s such a frenzy around doorbusters-style promotion that the whole event feels like…a lot. Instead, sales like this should be an excuse to get off the sidelines and make a move on something you’ve already been considering buying.
So, while we do have our big ol' sale roundup for people who are in the mood to window shop, I mostly focused my efforts on returning to our best of lists, like best coffee makers or best cookware sets, and highlighting which of those items are on sale. That way you can get some context along with that Buy Now button. Here, I’m synthesizing what I did across all those reviews.
Below you’ll find a tight list of nine kitchen deals on items that have been top picks in our testing for over a year. They're also all either at least $100 or 20% off—and the discounts go all way up to $800. All of these are real kitchen upgrades with real savings.
Best cookware set: All Clad D3 7-Piece Cookware Set → $100 off
Your Buy It For Life cookware. Your unkillable pans. Your pro-level pots. Refer to them as you will; All-Clad cookware really could be the last you’ll ever need. This small set of pots should be enough to prepare 90% of the recipes you’ll want to make.
Best juicer: Nama J2 Juicer → $100 off
I was hanging out in the Test Kitchen last week and someone asked me, “are we still doing this juicing thing?” And the answer is yes, if you’re doing it with one of Nama’s juicers. They produce more and higher quality juice from a single piece of fruit than even similarly priced machines.
Best espresso machine: Bosch Fully Automatic Coffee and Espresso Machine → $800 off
To be honest, super automatic espresso machines like this one from Bosch are not my thing. I prefer grinding my own coffee and pulling my own shots. But I know that there are a lot of people out there who want a less hands-on process. And of all the automatic machines I’ve tried, Bosch's is the best. The coffee is good, the milk is smooth, the interface is friendly. Oh, and the sale on this one is $800 off.
Best blender: Vitamix 5200 → $150 off
Technically the Vitamix 5200 was supplanted as our top pick in our best blender roundup by a newer, less expensive Vitamix, the VX1. But with the discount the prices of these two excellent blenders are almost identical. And if you go with the 5200 you’ll pick up an extra two years of warranty—seven years versus the VX1s five years.
Best drip coffee maker: Fellow Aiden → 20% off
If you don’t follow the economics of home goods you might have missed the news that Fellow had to meaningfully raise its prices amidst the tariff mishegoss of spring and summer 2025. For Prime Day though, the brand dropped the prices of almost all its hardware to levels below what they were pre-tariffs. The Aiden is, without rival, the best drip coffee maker I’ve used thanks to its precision and customizability. It’s as close as you can get to pour-over coffee without, well, making pour-over coffee.
Best budget coffee maker: Braun Brewsense Coffee Maker → 31% off
I know the Aiden is too much machine (and too many dollars) for some people who just want a good, simple coffee maker. That’s what the Braun Brewsense is. It’s been the best budget coffee maker in my reviews for several years running and right now it’s more than 30% off.
Best air fryer: Cosori Turbo Blaze 9-in-1 Air Fryer → 29% off
Air fryers tipped from trend to ubiquitous appliance years ago, and Cosori’s design is just a bit better than the rest. It circulates air and crisps food better than other air fryers and does it faster to boot. And sliding in just under $100 during the sale, it’s a kitchen addition that should be in almost everyone’s budget.
Best smart oven: Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro → 20% off
For a more versatile air fryer experience, Breville’s smart ovens can not only do the standard air fryer tasks of reheating frozen food or cooking basic chicken breasts and vegetables, but can accommodate whole chickens, trays for dehydrating, and your morning toast.
Best ice maker: GE Opal Ice Maker → $160 off
The texture of the nugget ice from GE’s Opal machines (the best ice maker we've tested) just can’t be matched. If you have ever enjoyed crunching the ice of a movie theater soda and even if you haven’t, I think you’ll find what Helen Rosner refers to as “the good ice” is better than whatever you have in your freezer right now.
