Epicurious has thrown weekend-long foodstravaganzas in New York City for a few years now. They've featured some of the best chefs serving up innovative (shall we say epic?) dinners and a management seminar's worth of cooking classes. In other words, they're the kind of events you want a ticket to.
But on May 5-6, for the first time ever, the team will host a version of the event outside of the Empire State: Epicurious Entertains Chicago.
This is no roadshow. Exclusively hometown talent will be showcased, so look for Sprout's Dale Levitski and Hot Chocolate's Mindy Segal among a roster of other top names on the Chicago eating scene. On the schedule: cooking classes, a baseball BBQ, and, topping off the weekend, Dinner with Chicago's Top Chefs.
You can get a pass for the whole shebang or get tickets for individual events a la carte, but whatever you do, check it out.
