As we reach the end of Cake Week, it's worth taking the time to appreciate the power of cake beyond its mere edibility. Cake is a symbol of joy, a dessert that lets you share and selfishly savor alike, portioned out by the free will of the cake cutter. And these wood and acrylic paint sculptures by Greely Myatt are a testament to the visual power of the cake--even though these slices are totally inedible, they still look good enough to tackle.
