Artist Mitch O'Connell dug into his vast collection of old cards, posters, and other stuff the rest of us throw away, ending up with a treasure trove of off-kilter vintage Valentine's Day cards. We sifted through the collection (many of them skew towards the inappropriate) to find the best food-related pieces.
Whoever designed these got the whole getting-to-the-heart-through-the-stomach thing a little mixed-up--it works better with real food (especially when that real food isn't creepily peering out of its bun).
