Barbecue in Every Language | Ep. 3 A Golden Gathering
Released on 08/11/2025
[Ines] We've been cooking all day,
and now it's time to sit, eat, and just enjoy.
I've got my tacos, Gold Peak Tea is poured,
and I'm joined by Kelly and Pat for a backyard meal
to wrap it all up.
Hey y'all.
Oh my goodness, this is what I'm talking about.
[Ines] Here are my carne asada tacos.
A little blue corn tortilla moment,
the steak, and some cilantro and onion on top.
Ah, stop it, stop it.
I made some chicken sandwiches
that are Memphis barbecue sandwiches with Louisiana roots.
[Ines] It is me on a bun. Wow.
[Pat] I can't wait to dig in.
[Kelly] And of course- Your ribs
right there.
There's Memphis time, baby.
I got my spare ribs, so we gotta mound them up.
It's a real golden moment to be here with you guys,
just sharing culture, sharing stories,
and really getting a little piece of ourselves
on this plate.
So to good people, good food, and great barbecue.
Cheers.
[Kelly] Cheers. Cheers.
Oh my goodness.
Can I grab you a taco? You most certainly can.
You can taste the real cane sugar in this stuff.
Gold Peak is the perfect accompaniment to the meal.
[laughing]
Pardon me. Let me do that again.
[upbeat music]
