[Mary] I like to incorporate color
in all of my meals throughout the day.
There's lots of inspiration out there,
even in baby food.
Recipes curated by color make it easy
to introduce my babies to a variety of colorful nutrients.
I like to start my day off right
with a delicious and bright berry beet muffin.
You eat with all of your senses.
And the smell of these freshly-baked muffins
get my kids excited for breakfast.
My afternoons are so busy
with the kids, play dates, music lessons
and developing recipes for Bon Appétit.
A hearty and nutritious salad
really keeps me going throughout my day.
The Green Goddess salad with peas and avocado
is perfect and I love to put it in a jar
when I have to take it on the go.
When children see you eating your colors,
they're gonna wanna do the same.
I'm really excited about this recipe
that I'm working on with yellow zucchini,
corn and curried shrimp.
I love to introduce my children to adventurous flavors,
so that they grow up with an open palette.
It's gonna be perfect for tonight's dinner.
