My parents joke that I was born with a ladle in my hand.
I would sit with the aunties in the kitchen,
see them cook, help them cook.
Those smells of spices, sounds of pots.
Hands please!
The chaos.
To me, it's like, I've come home.
Hey guys!
People always me why Nashville.
They are clamoring for good food.
I can experiment, I can show off what Indian cuisine is.
Four years in Nashville, four restaurants, two breweries.
I don't think that's really bad when it comes to expansion.
I think we've done a good job.
Yeah, good. Vivik and I,
we've always been very hard workers.
We've been very passionate.
I've always considered him my mentor, my partner in crime.
Party! Happy spices!
We get each other's craziness.
Jerry! Maneet!
It's the people you surround yourself with,
which will lead to your success.
I'll tell you a secret.
You are the easiest investment that I've ever made.
The adventure that we've had already
is one for the record books,
and I can't imagine what the story's gonna look like
when it's fully written.
[Maneet] My goal for our company is that as we grow,
the people along with us grow.
With each and every new restaurant that we are opening,
people who join us as chefs, as managers,
we are giving them partnership,
we are giving them sweat equity.
Aren't they good? My god.
They have put their heart and souls in the place,
and it's our duty to reward them.
To Bang Bang!
They are a part of the family.
The pride, the accomplishment, the happiness.
It's a feeling unlike any feeling that I ever have.
