[Dave] I'm Dave Kaplan,

one of the owners of Proprietors, LLC.

I do a lot of different things within my company.

We're lucky enough to get to work with teams

and help build and open restaurants and bars.

So Jackson's interesting.

There are all these great little motels

that have so much character here,

but they haven't really been updated

or sort of brought new life since the 50s and 60s.

I think the Anvil Hotel and Glorietta are the answer

that Jackson needed.

They were softly renovated and redesigned.

We want a metropolitan feel while still feeling of place.

It feels very warm and inviting.

Growing up in Jackson,

the outdoors is just a part of your life.

So Anvil Explorers Program is an amazing opportunity

that Anvil has created.

They've partnered with these outdoor adventure companies

to offer everything from snow-shoeing to dog sledding

to snow mobiling, things that otherwise might not

be on your radar, but are phenomenal ways to get out there.

And the tour guides here are just a wealth of knowledge.

I learn more snow-shoeing in a couple hours

than I have in years of living here.

Walking into Mercantile, which is also

the lobby and the check-in, the retail experience there

is incredibly well-curated to what

your Jackson experience really will be.

It feels more metropolitan and more kind of worldly

than sometimes we have in Jackson.

Glorietta for me kind of hits everything that I want,

and everyone here is incredibly proud

of what they're serving.

It answers the honesty and character

of a great sort of home environment.

You feel like you're sort of part of the community,

part of the restaurant.

And they're also serving phenomenally authentic food.

It feels and is homemade,

everything from the pastas to the steak,

the giant Tomahawk ribeye.

That's kind of the point of going out.

It's to share these moments and to bring back

this connectivity to your friends or family

or people that you don't get

to have in your life every moment, every day.
