Waiting On Line At The Best BBQ In The World

You gotta come to Franklin's Barbecue.

It's an experience that I never knew about.

Get up in line and here we are tailgating

to get barbecue.

Four o'clock.

I got here at 7:45.

They showed up a little later obviously because

they just didn't come on. Because we're old.

Eight, 8:15 in the morning.

8:30. 8:30.

I think you're at the end of the line too.

I know that.

Are you gonna wait it out?

I'm gonna have to,

but I'll sent a text to my wife

saying don't come until two.

But you're serving beer at ten,

that's how it go.

Today I have brisket, pork spare ribs,

pulled pork, turkey, beef ribs, which are only on Saturdays,

and sausage.

Definitely the brisket, no doubt about it.

I'm here for the ribs, the beef ribs.

Had them once, best ribs ever.

I'd say to you,

and to see that beef rib on my plate,

this might be a little too much here,

but just lick it for a few minutes.

And I'm a vegetarian.

They have great potato salad.

Definitely wake up early.

Get here at 6:30.

Lots of alcohol, couple of lawn chairs would be good,

There are free chairs under the stairs

we weren't aware of until we got to the stairs.

Bring beer and a football.

Get in line, make friends with the people in line,

swap details and all of that because you will be linked

for the rest of your life.

We met some folks from California

and we played charades for like three hours.

It was awesome.

I recommend the Julia Roberts movies category.

He was behind us, I just met him at 8:15 when we got here.

So now we're all having fun together.

Yes we are.

We thought about going to other barbecue places

but he wanted to wait in line and do the whole thing.

And then when you get up to the ordering bar,

don't get nervous.

Just go, a half a pound of brisket, a half a pound of ribs,

a half a pound of the turkey,

and a half a pound of the pulled pork.

That's it.

You're done then.

Just get here early and hang out and enjoy yourself.
