As more of the classic breakfast places close around the city, this Reynoldstown spot—opened a few years ago by a chef fleeing fine dining—has become the hang for locals and hipsters alike. They crowd into the wood-paneled room for hot ham biscuits, fried chicken with biscuits (the beloved Comfy Chicken Biscuit), house-smoked brisket biscuits, killer breakfast tacos, pancakes, cheddar chili hash browns, and more. They serve breakfast all day, and it’s a good thing—though the vegan Sloppy Joe is a star at lunch.

PRO TIP: The earlier, the better. As in, get here before 9 a.m. on weekends or plan to wait.

THE DETAILS: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
