By intimate, we mean, don’t go with your loved ones. Go with your loved one. Because only the two of you will fit in this pretty space, with its peacock-blue walls and Cognac leather banquettes. The food is luxe, classic continental fare, all Sauternes-spiked lobster bisque and oysters Rockefeller. This is where you come for an unironic chocolate soufflé—with a side of just-baked canelés. What could be more romantic than that? With just 52 seats, of course, reservations are a must.
PRO TIP: The dry-aged steak is delicious, but don’t ignore the veg: They’re grown at the chef-owners' Summerland farm.
