Like any proper food joint in Austin, Patika started as a trailer and upgraded to a South Lamar storefront when the time was right. The midcentury modern space is design-y in a good way—like, you want to start the morning with coffee on the patio and stay here till nightfall with a glass of good wine.
PRO TIP: Don’t hesitate to bring your dog: Not only is the staff super-friendly, but the owner also has a soft spot for (wo)man’s best friend. Also, check the site for music night—local indie artists perform.
