There’s no better place to stock up on cocktail gear than at Boston Shaker. The wares range from the utilitarian (a dozen plastic liquor pourers for $1.10) to the esoteric (small-batch sasparilla bitters, at $20). There’s only one version of each essential cocktail tool, because the store simply stocks the best. And whether you self-identify as a mixologist or just like to drink, browsing the shelves here is endless entertainment.
PRO TIP: The store offers workshops in shaking, stirring, garnishing, and all the other techniques you’ll need to go with the gear.
