The Coffee Collective

A pour-over (and upcycled coffee kombucha) is always in reach, thanks to this mini chain

GO HERE: for some of Copenhagen’s best coffee from the city’s OG roaster, served in extremely stylish spaces.

ORDER THE: pour-over, milky drinks (Danish dairy is heaven), and kombucha made using leftover filter coffee.

THE VIBE IS: cool, young, and local. At its five locations in the city, the Coffee Collective perfectly nails the style, vibe, and flavor profile of what you imagine a Scandinavian coffee shop to be. Hit the Jægersborggade location to anchor a morning on one of the city’s coolest streets; venture to the Godthåbsvej location to check out the roastery; and try the smallest shop on Bernikow, which is dark and clubby like the old-man’s bar it once was. The Torvehallerne spot is a good place to refuel, and the newest location is at Broens Gadekøkken, a food market started by Noma's owners

PRACTICAL STUFF: Each location has different hours, so visit the website beforehand.
