The on-Strip spot where locals drink

The sister bar to the Wynn’s—you guessed it—Parasol Up, this is where locals go to drink when they find themselves on the Strip. And with good reason: It’s just plain fun. Arrive early to get a seat on the patio outdoors, where you’ll find yourself in front of a 40-foot waterfall (not a mirage!) and a movie theater–style screen. Multimedia shows—think a gigantic mechanized frog singing Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places”—play every half hour from dusk until 12:30 a.m., turning cocktail hour into bizarrely wonderful theater. The cocktail list is standard and executed extraordinarily well.

PRO TIP: The bowls of crunchy bar snacks are salty, perfect, and (most important) bottomless.

DETAILS: Daily, 11 a.m.–2 a.m.
