This French Quarter antiques store is dedicated to the arts of the kitchen, table, and garden. And, like the great Southern hostesses from whom these treasures hail, it pulls out all the stops in setting a gorgeous table. Can you take home a French Restoration walnut buffet à deux corps or a Napoleon III porcelain dinner service with 70 plates? Mmm…probably not. But there are still exquisite linens, platters, silver, copper, and serveware to tuck into your carry-on. Come here to be reminded that finger bowls really should come back in style.

PRO TIP: Check their “Petit Blog” to find out when new shipments arrive. Also, their early opening hours mean you can go after you’ve had a few beignets at nearby Café du Monde.

THE DETAILS: Closed Sunday. Open Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
