GO HERE: to explore the best of French food in one very chic place. It’s not a grocery store. It’s a 30,000-square-foot food department store.

GET THE: Catherine Kluger savory granola, Christine Ferber jam, and so on. You can easily put together the airplane (or park) picnic of your dreams from the variety of food counters. Who knew there were so many sizes of blini or types of pâté?

THE VIBE IS: haute + cuisine. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Céline bags for sale at one of the immaculate counters.

PRACTICAL STUFF: Open 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day but Sunday, which is 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Come between 5 and 7 p.m. at your own risk. Save time and use the automated checkout kiosks. Oh, and if you spend more than 175 euros on wine, you qualify for détaxe at the airport, so save that receipt.
