GO HERE: for tarts, eclairs, caneles, and cookies made with the precision of two Michelin-trained pastry chefs. The creations are something to behold from the other side of the pastry case but perhaps best appreciated in cross-section, where the assorted layers of choux and ganache and mousse and cremeux make for a delicious blueprint.

GET THE: house-made soft-serve, when in season, topped with bits of fresh fruit or fruit cream; the Earl, a luxe log of Earl Grey sponge cake, bergamot cremeux, and milk-chocolate mousse; the coffee-chocolate Opera bar with layers of buttercream, biscuit and ganache; the Latte Tart, built from espresso-soaked sponge cake; and a few of the Earl Grey shortbread cookies as an afternoon snack, once the initial sugar rush wears off.

THE VIBE IS: neighborhood coffee shop with way, way better sweets.

PRACTICAL STUFF: Open Wednesday–Thursday noon to 7 p.m., Friday 1 to 6 p.m. and 8 to 11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Whole cakes are available with three days’ notice.
