Five versions of the Maine Italian sandwich each consisting of boiled ham, white cheese, raw onions, olives, pickles, tomatoes, green pepper, salt, pepper, and oil, all on very soft, white bread-style sub roll. Some Mainers prefer it with yellow mustard.
