Attention green design geeks: Your dreams may have just come true.

Wasara's beautiful disposable biodegradable tableware line has finally left Japan and landed on U.S. shores.

The series of disposable bowls, plates, and cups are made from bamboo, sugarcane waste (bagasse), and reed, all of which are natural resources in no danger of depletion. For months, the internet was buzzing about Wasara, with design blogs fawning over the simple yet elegant design that visually rivals that of delicate porcelain. Branch is Wasara's official U.S. distributor, and they started taking pre-orders mid-December last year.

Now if you're too lazy to bring out the fine china at your next dinner party, this might just solve the problem.
