It's that time of year when you know you'll be spending a lot of time with your family, but you'll also be spending time—maybe too much time—thinking about your family. It's the giving season, but you have no idea what to give them. We may not know what to get your football-loving uncle, but we know all about foodies and if you have one in the family it's easy to accidentally get them something they don't want.
So what to get them? Well, we have a whole gift guide for that, and if you still can't find anything, it might be best to try a cookbook. Here are our five of our favorites that came out this past fall, and some recommendations from the chefs who wrote them. Head to the nearest bookstore and get shopping.
