The "Hysteria" star talked to us about her morning routine

Welcome to My Morning Routine, where we take a look at how people kick-start the day. In the first few installments, we focused on Bon Appétit staffers. Now we move into the wide world of everyone else (and by that we mean celebrities)

Maggie Gyllenhaal stars in Hysteria (a hilarious historical comedy about the invention of the vibrator), which opened last Friday. She is also expecting a second baby girl, which, of course, changes her eating habits around a little bit. Here's her Morning Routine. **

I am a coffee drinker when I'm not pregnant. When I am pregnant I do drink a little coffee, but not every day. I make it at home. And there's one place in my neighborhood that has fantastic coffee, it's called Café Regular, which is just around the corner.

My husband and I usually trade off who takes my daughter to school, although lately I've been so pregnant, he's been doing it all the time. But usually we trade off.

And then, my husband, he really enjoys running, so he makes these smoothies that are green and thick. I have no idea exactly what's in them. But I do like to drink them, so that's good. So if he makes them, I'll drink them, but I don't go near all the jars that he uses.

I had morning sickness for a lot of this pregnancy.

I find that my body definitely tells me what I need. It was yogurt for me, I just ate tons of yogurt. Now I don't throw up any more, but I do find that there are times when I just need to have a hamburger.
