Or so she said on this morning's Regis and Kelly show. The duo were discussing Zagat's 10 New Rules of Dining Etiquette when the post-feminist question emerged: Who pays on a date?
Zagat thinks that whoever initiates a date should ante up. Kelly doesn't think so. In fact, she thinks it's "disgusting" and "gross" if a man doesn't pay for her salad dinner. Ripa's rant was based on the logic that women give birth, so men should always foot the bill. So babies = free meals! Good to know.
