We did. In fact, one of our web staffers served it for the birthday dinner of the most carnivorous members of her family. (Check it.) And there were no midnight cheese cravings afterward. Yes, this dish is both vegetarian and hearty. And it's pretty decadent looking, too--to plate, start with roasted tomato sauce, then place the steak atop it, then pile on the olive relish. A fine start to 2012.
