Yesterday BA executive editor Christine Muhlke shared the story of her rent-to-cook vacation. In case you missed it: She spent five delicious days with her husband and friends in a rental house on on a bay next to Hog Island, an hour or so north of San Francisco. Think home-cooked meals like linguine with local clams bought next door, and hiking with a backpack full of Cowgirl Creamery cheese--all of which elicited the crazed envy from her coworkers before the story even went to print.
There was so much to do, cook, eat, and see there in Point Reyes that our photographer, Randy Harris, was beside himself. As a visual bonus, here's his exclusive glimpse of Hog Island Oyster Farm--one of Tomales Bay's definite musts.
