It was an exciting week here at Bon Appétit—we announced the 50 nominees for the Best New Restaurants in America, selected by restaurant and drinks editor Andrew Knowlton after countless reservations, menus, and marathon dining sessions. (Read the full list here.) A tough job, but hey, somebody's gotta do it, right?
But wait! There's more! Next week (August 19, to be exact), we'll be announcing Knowlton's picks for the Hot 10: the 10 best new restaurants in the country. While we wait in stomach-rumbling anticipation, we've rounded up some of this week's highlights and best moments. Turns out, you guys are just as excited about the nominations as we are. That's good stuff.
