All the Prime Day kitchen deals aren't here quite yet, but they're close. The mega retailer's fall sales event is just a few days away, but if you can't wait (and who can) there are deals to be had now. After years of covering Amazon Prime Day and Prime Big Deal Days (the mouthful of a name they use for the fall sales event), we've found there are always some discounts that land on the site early. Below you'll find appliances, cookware, and tools from brands we've tested and liked, all on sale now, and probably, through the even that runs through Wednesday October 6.

Appliances
From one of our favorite high-powered blenders to a tried-and-true stand mixer, the appliance deals are some of the greatest finds on Amazon this fall. Our top-rated multi-cooker, the Instant Pot Rio, which contributor Francesca Krempa claims is streamlined and easy to use, is a great deal. And don’t sleep on the Anova Culinary Sous Vide Precision Cooker—it’s $250 less than retail.
Cookware
‘Tis the season for braises, pan sauces, and one-pan dishes. For all that comfort food you’ll be cooking, you’ll need good cookware to stand up to high heat and extended simmer. Lots of the best deals on cookware will probably hit during the sales event (look for All-Clad cookware sets, which are often on sale during Prime Day). But in the meantime a classic Dutch oven from Le Creuset and one from Amazon Basics, generally recognized as one of the better budget offerings out there, are on sale.
Coffee gear
The caffeinated crowd will appreciate the coffee deals this Prime Big Deals Day. While senior editor Noah Kaufman does have favorites amongst Breville's expansive lineup of espresso machines, they all make great espresso. And, loads of them are on sale right now. Plus, our favorite budget coffee maker is $30 off.
What is Prime Big Deals Day?
Around here we just call it Fall Prime Day, this two-day event is sort of an amuse bouche to November's main course of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The date fluctuates year to year, and in 2026, it falls on Oct. 6 and 7. Discounts are across all categories, including everything you’d want and need in your kitchen.
How do I access Amazon Prime Day deals?
To benefit from Prime Day’s major savings, you will need to have an Amazon Prime membership. Currently, that will set you back $14.99 per month or $139 per year (and if you’re between the ages of 18 and 24, you can qualify for a half-price discounted membership). Prime membership comes with a host of benefits, including free one-day, two-day, and even same-day delivery on many items, plus access to unlimited grocery delivery (for an additional monthly fee). Members also have access to Prime Video streaming content, Kindle e-books, and more. Recently, Amazon has included some added perks to Prime membership like Grubhub+, which means $0 delivery fees and other savings.
