Why try:
They're all-American but nothing like the jelly on your PB&J. Aromatic, slip-skinned, and complex, they're great for granita, roasted, or in a pie.
How to buy:
Look for medium-size, smooth, round, mustily fragrant grapes with a blue bloom (powdery quality). Fragile: Handle with care when carting them home.
How to store:
Refrigerate unwashed in an airtight container lined with paper towels several days. Serve at room temperature.
