Bon Rappetite

If it did, though, we'd probably order the Lil' Kimchi with the Wu Tang Clams

We're in the habit of writing about our favorite real restaurants: places with actual locations, chefs who exist, and food that can be metabolized to generate energy for your body. But sometimes, a fake restaurant deserves some love, too.

Bon Rappetite seems to be a web design stunt by a social media business called Baby Robot Industries, but that doesn't stop it from being a treasure trove of puns. Its menu includes:

  • Roastface Killah ("served with au jus and fishscale")
  • Ol' Dirty Custard
  • Wu Tang Clams
  • L'il Wangz

and, maybe best of all:

  • Pone Thugs & Hominy

The website suggests relaxing with their signature cocktail, "Long Island Ice-T," or eating "so many shrimp you get iodine poisoning in our relaxing dining area." Upcoming events include "Hot Tub Night," with "eight person hot tub tables" and "Freestyle Dining & Rap Battle Every Monday in August."

The website says the restaurant's in Atlanta, but we wouldn't recommend going, since the address listed is clearly just a house. But if you do decide to check it out, pay attention to their "trademarked" slogan: "One thing's for sure, you better bring your rappetite."
