The NBA lockout and all its drama may seem to be far from the world of Bon Appetit, but food has a way of working itself into almost any situation. Yesterday, Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett appealed to the cooks of the world in an interesting critique of the lockout-rushed season and NBA commish David Stern:

So, for those of you who can cook out there: any idea what he's talking about?

We kid. The basic idea seems to be that slapdash planning leads to bad team chemistry, which is like how lazy cooking leads to bad food. Honestly, though, frying, mixing, throwing, frying, putting it all in a tortilla and microwaving something sounds like it could produce a pretty awesome burrito. At 3 a.m.

Either way, it's nice to know that we're part of Garnett's target audience. Go Celtics!

Of course, we're big Knicks fans, too. [via ESPN Boston]
