A New York University Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) student named Marko Manriquez has made a machine designed specifically to make burritos. He claims that this is meant as a commentary on our fast food culture, and is NOT an effort to outsource more American jobs to robots, hasten the end of our carbon-based civilization, and further strip us of our agency. But you can never be sure with robots. Once they have our burritos, and our pizza, and our inari-zushi, what will they take next?
The burritob0t will have a companion web app that lets you customize how much salsa, guac, and so on you want in your burritob0t burrit0. The plan is to start printing at volume this summer.
