That's what we need after the last few months of meat, booze, and other kinds of debauchery. We've got two things for that:

  1. Our Food Lover's Cleanse, a two-week healthy cooking plan launching today courtesy of Sara Dickerman and nutritionist Marissa Lippert.

  2. Two restorative potions courtesy of Seasonal Cooks columnists Melissa Hamilton and Christopher Hirsheimer, a.k.a. the Canal House Cooks. "Good, wholesome food nourishes us, so we make broths and soups with ingredients that are full of prana: energy and life," they wrote. "We always return to our favorites--Restorative Beef Broth, with its rich, deep flavor to build us up, and Cleansing Ginger-Chicken Soup, even its name promising a whole lot of good."
