Brie, Broccoli Rabe, and Sausage Pasta
Released on 10/08/2024
I'm Amanda Shulman,
and today, we are making
a baked Brie, broccoli rabe, and sausage pasta,
inspired by my favorite hometown pork sandwich.
So a Mornay sauce is a bechamel that you add cheese to.
So Brie is actually one of the first cheeses
I grew up eating.
My sister and I would cover it in honey and melt it
and eat it with crackers.
That made me feel like an adult.
We have our President Brie.
Leaving the rind on is amazing for ease.
It's also gonna add an extra depth of flavor.
Mozzarella cheese.
Grab our immersion blender.
Now for all of the mixings,
our spicy Italian sweet Italian sausages,
our broccoli rabe.
We're gonna grab our pasta,
and now we're gonna go in
with our broccoli sausage mixture, cheese sauce.
Grab your dish,
and you want it to be bakeable and beautiful
because you are gonna bake and then serve right in this.
There you have it. Ooey, gooey.
[upbeat music]
Mm, super creamy, buttery.
No one's gonna be mad at this.
This is a good idea.
