Oh, hello.
Welcome to my kitchen and happy holidays.
I'm so excited to partner with Pepperidge Farm puff pastry.
The holiday season is the glamorous showgirl of the year,
and I wanna make a dish that's extra special,
so my new BFF Shilpa is gonna come by to help me.
[soft music]
Hi Shilpa, I'm so happy to see you
because I'm really looking for like the showgirl of dishes
that I can present my friends this season.
I think I have just a thing for you.
Pepperidge Farm, puff pastry snowflake.
Certainly very glamorous and it's also very shareable.
Something that I like and I think it's perfect
for the holiday season.
Let's do it.
Before we get started building our snowflake,
let's talk about preparing the puff pastry,
because that's the most important step.
If I'm thinking ahead.
I like to thought in the fridge overnight.
Thank you, sir,
and they're super easy to find in the freezer aisle
of almost any grocery store.
And what we're going to do now is roll it out
to make it a little bit bigger,
because we're gonna cut a circle.
Okay, so we're rolling it out.
So we're just rolling it out, while we're rolling this,
the oven is preheating to 400.
Oh, you're really fast.
Let's grab this.
And then we're going to use this as a template to sort
of cut out a circle
and just run the tip of your knife around.
That looks good.
So what we're going to do next
is create like a little sandwich
with hazelnut chocolate spread in between.
[Brad] Ooh.
The next thing we're going
to do is pick up the second sheet
and place it on top, creating a little sandwich.
We are gonna use like a glass in the center
to like mark an indentation.
We're gonna cut like 16 spokes.
[Brad] 16.
16 spokes, and now we're going to transfer it
onto like a rimmed baking sheet.
Okay.
So it's easier to build it here
and then finish it on the baking sheet.
So just slide it underneath and slide it on top.
Pick up a spoke and pull gently.
We twist once, twice.
Don't worry about making it look too perfect, you know,
just like in nature, every snowflake is different.
Aw.
We're gonna brush it with the egg wash
to make it extra shiny and golden brown.
Beautiful, okay, we're ready to put this in the oven.
So we have 20 minutes, so why don't we go
and I'll show you my glamorous and gorgeous
and sparkly holiday tablescape.
Here she is.
My beautiful showgirl of a holiday table.
Brad, it's beautiful.
I love a simple yet effective table setting.
And of course, a little festive sparkle.
Brad, look how beautiful these turned out.
Oh my goodness. It's snowing!
[Shilpa] Isn't it beautiful?
It was so easy to do.
Pepperidge Farm puff pastry really
elevates the holiday table.
[Shilpa] Cheers, Brad.
Cheers, Shilpa.
