There, you’ll be rewarded with carefully-roasted beans, expertly-pulled espresso, lattes frothed with house-made almond milk and macadamia paste, and—YOU GUESSED IT—avocado toast. This is a third wave coffee shop at its most stereotypical and delightful, right down to the reclaimed wood tables, live trees, and fanatical staff.
Pro Tip: It’s worth trying a “Death Cream” just to say you did. It’s organic whole milk, Colombian cold brew, and organic, unrefined sugar shaken to a frenzy—PublicUs’s answer to a Frappuccino.
